Meet the Team
Our Management Group and Directors provide the committed leadership for Krasif Aid. Here are the team:
Brian & Chris Clarke:
Brian & Chris began mission work in 1989 as part of YWAM in Amsterdam working with vulnerable people in “Sin City.” Previously, Brian was a lawyer for 16 years. Back in the UK they headed the YWAM Family Ministry work for several years, before beginning involvement in Bulgaria in 1998. They were recruited by Saltmine Trust, in Dudley, to head up their Eastern Europe ministry in 2001. In late 2007 they began the formation of Krasif Aid. They are members of St. Thomas’ Anglican Church, Aldridge. Chris has her own party-plan jewellery making business that also supports the work in Bulgaria.
Colin & Frances Tyne:
Colin, an accountant, who before taking early retirement, worked in senior management positions with a major clearing bank and Lloyd’s (the insurance market.) Frances worked in further education and specialised in recent years in Health and Social Care. They are members of Hertford Community Church, a Pioneer Church, where Colin is the Church Administrator and Frances leads a work amongst the older ladies. Both of them are also very involved in an American Youth Work in the UK both at a local level and a national level, Colin is their Treasurer and a Trustee.
Roger & Eileen Wilcox:
Roger retired as a police sergeant after 31 years service in the West Midlands. He jointly led an emerging independent church for nineteen years, and has been involved in management and as a trustee of a number of local charities and third sector organisations during the past forty years. He led the establishment of a highly successful Community Resource Centre in his home town, Willenhall. He has been married to Eileen for over 40 years
Iain & Nicola Martin:
Iain Martin runs Kyros Business Services, which provides franchise recruitment and other specialised services for the franchise industry. Iain and his wife Nicola are members of New Song Community Church in Bromsgrove. They have a vision of the Christian church working in unity, as one body, equipped to meet the needs of the marginalised in society, and to draw in those who are yet to experience the love of Jesus, personally. They set up Wassell Grove Business Centre in Halesowen as an integral part of this vision.
Jim & Margaret Chalmers:
Jim became a Christian through the local Presbyterian Church. He studied History at University and later teacher training in Manchester, subsequently becoming a teacher and college lecturer teaching history all of his career. He retired recently, and is married to Margaret, also a teacher. They are members of St. Thomas’ Anglican Church, Aldridge, where Jim is a Lay-Reader.
Matt & Gill Partridge:
Matt & Gill met over 25 years ago at Aston University whilst studying Optometry. They married in 1985 just one week after graduating. In 1989 they moved to Newport in Shropshire where they still live and work – they have their own Opticians Practice, which was opened in 1994. They attend Newport Christian Fellowship where they have responsibility for the Youth Group.
