Projects and people supported include…

The Blue House Day Hospice & Care Centre: here a number of the makers, who are taught this skill at the Centre, are single-mothers.

A small Church in the north of Bulgaria led by an English missionary and his Bulgarian wife. Working with the very poor Turkish minority group in the area, this literally puts food on the tables for the families involved!

The Dragodanovo Residential School where many of the children have committed minor crimes, often from families trapped in the poverty cycle. Whilst learning a skill for the future, proceeds buy extras like pool tables, DVD players etc.

The Day Centre for the Disabled in Sliven. This is an alternative to the tough residential institutions of the recent past. As the group learn and enjoy jewellery making activities, the sales help provide further resources for the centre.

Some Bulgarian Church Pastors and their families - We always work in partnership with local churches around the country.

The ladies at a sheltered housing project for the mentally disabled in Sliven. Jewellery making provides both therapy and income for the residents, as the centre helps them adjust to a more normal way of life after prolonged institutional life.
