Disability Library

AID SHIPMENTS: for several years we have shipped donated aid goods from Walsall to Sliven under the banner of Bulgaria Aid; now part and parcel of KRASIF AID. This is a long-standing part of our commitment to Bulgaria.

The latest container arrived safely in July, and was released after some typical customs hassles. Apart from other help, this shipment began the new "library" of disability equipment being set-up by our young associates Matt & Melissa, who spent three weeks in Sliven in August on this project.

SUPPORTING CHURCHES & PASTORS: Most Bulgarian churches are cash poor and few are able to support their own pastors financially. Our support can make a huge difference to the ministries of our church partners.

FRANCHISE BUSINESSES: using well-proven models, we are looking to develop new business start-ups, which will create jobs and income for Bulgarians. We have a franchising specialist in our management team.

Tvarditsa Men's Home

Evelyn Wilson is a social worker from London, and she has been working hard to further improve conditions, and standards for the 200 plus residents and staff at Tvarditsa. All the men have some mental or physical disability, and we have helped in different ways over the past 10 years. Evelyn and other volunteers are now particularly focussed on seeing the most disabled men move into newly renovated EU standard facilities on the camp.

MANY PEOPLE HELP!

There are many ways that KRASIF AID people are helping Bulgaria, and do look at the web pages for the BLUE HOUSE, KERMEN etc...

Here are a few more updates:

MISSION TEAMS: each year many people join teams focused on ... building works and DIY improvements at children’s institutions – often combined with inter-active play with the children; seminars and training for care professionals to EU standards; ophthalmic assessments ... and more.

GOOD NEWS: the Gospel of Jesus Christ has power to change individuals, families.and communities. This is the engine that drives all that we do and is our core principle.
